AJC Wilson Bodyshop – Our Business

AJC Wilson Bodyshop was bought by three founding shareholders in 1999 and enjoys a position as one of the most forward-thinking bodyshops in the accident repair industry.

The business of AJC Wilson Bodyshop grew from the vision, values and aspiration of the three founder shareholders who wanted to be different to any traditional accident repair operation. They had a vision to do things differently, and these same values that remain today are based on honesty, integrity and transparency in everything we say and do and our aspiration to deliver service to our customers that ensures they return time after time and our passion to provide a working team environment where everyone is valued and where people aspire to work.

Today, the business may have moved on but those three founding principles remain core to what we do and who we are.

Our vision to do things differently
The automotive sector is crammed with organisations doing things the same way, because they’ve always done it this way. This is wrong! We put our customers at the heart of business, and they drive what we do – literally: When a customer’s vehicle is damaged in an accident, our product is what they drive. We repair every car like it was our own, or our sons, daughters, husband’s or wife’s car.

That’s why we were the first body repairer in the UK to embrace the Vehicle Body Repair Kitemark.

Our values of honesty, integrity and openness.
Let’s face it; people in the motor trade are on par with estate agents and MP’s who claim creative expenses. From the first telephone contact, through visiting our premises and seeing your vehicle, through to our individual customer follow-up, to a contact with our Managing Director, everything we do is clear for you to see.

Our aspiration to be the best
Our customers choose our bodyshop! In today’s modern time-poor world, through word of mouth our customers actively seek us out. Don’t take our word for it, look at our testimonials.

Many of our team grew up with us. One of new incoming Directors started as a trainee in our Academy team in our Accident Repair Centre. Two of our team leaders began their journey with us as Apprentices. The latest graduate from our Academy programme won Young Business Person of the Year in 2007. We organically grow good people and they make this organisation a great business delivering outstanding customer value.

We are not the best body repairer by accident!
